Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical ERP Finance Specialist with 3 to 4 years of experience to bridge the gap between our finance operations and our technology infrastructure. In this role, you will be the go-to person for maintaining, optimizing, and supporting our ERP finance modules (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or Workday).
You will work closely with the accounting and finance teams to streamline financial workflows, ensure data integrity, troubleshoot system issues, and lead minor enhancement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Maintenance & Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day ERP finance module issues (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cost Accounting).
- Process Optimization: Analyze existing financial workflows and implement system configurations or automation to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Month-End & Year-End Close Support: Assist the finance team during critical closing periods by ensuring system readiness, reconciling sub-ledgers, and resolving posting errors.
- Reporting & Analytics: Design, build, and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and queries within the ERP or integrated BI tools.
- Testing & Deployment: Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) for system upgrades, patches, and new feature rollouts.
- Training & Documentation: Create user guides and conduct training sessions for finance team members to ensure best practices in system utilization.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 3–4 years of hands-on experience supporting or implementing ERP financial modules.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong configuration skills in at least one major ERP system (e.g., SAP FI/CO, NetSuite, Dynamics 365 Finance, Oracle ERP Cloud). Solid understanding of SQL, financial reporting tools, or data visualization software (Power BI/Tableau) is a major plus.
- Domain Knowledge: Solid grasp of core accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts to non-technical users, and a collaborative mindset.
